Cashmere export price might increase.
Cashmere export price might increase. With the improving of recovery of pure cashmere from one kilogram of unprocessed cashmere, the cashmere export price might go up. May is the peak season for cashmere market in Mongolia. So far, the Agricultural Exchange conducted the trade of more than 90 tons of cashmere which cost some $2.6 million. Mongolia has the population of just three million people and the nation’s livestock is estimated around 56 million which is about 18 times more than the human population. One of the greatest gifts given by livestock is cashmere. Goat`s down is one of the highly valued natural fibers referred to as “Cashmere” and the world`s highest quality cashmere comes from Mongolian goats tended by nomadic herders. Mongolia is the second largest producer of cashmere in the world with about 15% of world production or one fifth of the global supply of raw cashmere. Due to the abundant snowfall of the past winter, cashmere output quality improved.
