Mongolia expands relations with France in health sector. The Ministry of Health and Sports of Mongolia and French Action Mongolia NGO signed a cooperation memorandum to develop laparoscopic surgery and improve medical diagnosis, treatment and the quality of medical services in Mongolia. Under the memorandum, some equipment and instruments for laparoscopic surgery were donated to the hospital in southern Dundgobi province. Also, the memorandum envisages training of Mongolian doctors, medical staff and some other issues of development assistance from France.
