Mongolia-India Business Council (MIBC) is established to promote the bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Speaking at the opening ceremony Executive Director of the MIBC Surendra Kumar Bansal said the Council will conduct studies on Mongolian brands to be introduced to the Indian market, and on Indian businesses to be carried out in Mongolia. India is a farming community and Indian farming experience and equipment would be introduced to Mongolia, said Mr Kumar. In return, Mongolia could supply wool and cashmere products to India. Mongolian food products are organic and healthy, so Mongolia could also supply food products, including meat and meat products, but processed as sausages. President of the MIBC Mr B.Gantulga said that some of India’s biggest companies have expressed interest in investing in Mongolia’s engineering infrastructure. Thus the involvement of the private sector through the newly established Business Council is important in advancing the all-round cooperation between Mongolia and India.
