Mongolia becomes co-founder of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
While talking with Mr Jin Liqun, the president of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Hong Kong, Mongolian Prime Minister Mr. Ch.Saikhanbileg told that Mongolia accepted a proposal from the AIIB on co-founding the bank.
While talking with Mr Jin Liqun, the president of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Hong Kong, Mongolian Prime Minister Mr. Ch.Saikhanbileg told that Mongolia accepted a proposal from the AIIB on co-founding the bank. Mr Prime Minister pointed out Mongolia wants to collaborate with the AIIB in resolving funding for infrastructure projects including a project on creating an economic corridor between Mongolia, China and Russia. The matter was agreed on past year at a trilateral meeting of the Presidents of the three countries. In response, President of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Mr Jin Liqun said the AIIB will study the formulated trilateral infrastructure projects. Mr Jin Liqun exposed willingness to implement first-turn projects in Mongolia, and told it’s possible to tackle investment issues in near future for the biggest and significant for Mongolia's development projects.
