Value-Added Activities in western Mongolia be fostered
Value-Added Activities in western Mongolia to be fostered by the ADB.
A project on Fostering Value-Added Activities in western Mongolia is to be launched by the Asian Development Bank. The project aims to strengthen coordination between three provinces of the western region with a focus on improving access to export markets. The project will also help improve investment capabilities and market analysis among businesses, local authorities and other stakeholders. The outcome will be enhanced readiness for value-added activities in private sector development in the western region. The project is also important to balance the promotion of mining with efforts to develop agriculture and other competitive non-mining sectors.
