Mongolian law enforcement officers learn latest trends in counterfeiting methods. One-week advanced training course is being organized in partnership with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe on detecting forged travel documents. In Ulaanbaatar, 35 Mongolian law enforcement officers are learning to increase their practical abilities to detect forged travel documents. A key focus of the interactive, practical sessions will be on original, forged and false documents, and on understanding and using forensic equipment to identify document forgery. The training course comes ahead of the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit, which will be held in Mongolia in July, and requires enhanced security measures.
