Mongolian chefs win medals from Istanbul festival. Mongolian culinary team of five chefs grabbed six silver medals from the 14th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival, which took place in Istanbul of Turkey. The Mongolian master chefs’ team succeeded in the “team Grand Prix” category and won a silver medal in the “Asian cuisine” category with the Tsuivan or Mongolian steamed noodles with meat by spinach flour. Also during the festival, two Mongolian chefs became licensed international judges. Istanbul was a world gastronomic center with more than 2,000 participating chefs from 25 countries.
