Cement factory in western Mongolia to promote region’s industrial development. A cement factory is being built in Khovd Province of western Mongolia to support construction materials factories in the region. Once built, Western Hold’s cement factory is expected to produce 250,000 tons of cement a year. Western Hold is building the cement factory to speed up the development in the western region, increase production, and jobs in the region. The factory is expected to add to the number of value-added products in Mongolia, increase exports, contribute to local tax revenue, and play a significant role in the region’s industrial development.
