Bilateral citizen migration of Mongolia and China is promoted.
Bilateral citizen migration of Mongolia and China is promoted. The issue was highlighted at the meeting between the chairman of Citizenship and Migration General Authority of Mongolia Mr. Bold and Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Mr. Xing Haiming. The chairman of Citizenship and Migration General Authority of Mongolia pledged to focus on disseminating information on the domestic laws and regulations concerning the rights and responsibilities of the foreign citizens, and monitoring over breach of Chinese workers’ rights due to the Mongolian procurement agencies. Thus, Chinese citizens, living in Mongolia with purposes of business, marriage, immigration and investment, make up a greater proportion of foreign migrants in Mongolia, having 8,500 people residing, of which 3,200 are employed by Mongolia. The sides also discussed about ways to enhance services at the border checkpoints.
