Mobile library project travelled through Mongolia. Mr Dashdondog, a talented and popular children’s writer devoted the past summer months of the last twenty-five years to travelling with his mobile library offering children the chance to access books they otherwise wouldn’t be able to. In 1991, he started a Mobile Library project on an ox cart to read his books to children living in rural areas. The writer continued to travel on horse and camel carts, until he received a bus from Japan in 2002. Through the children’s library, writer J.Dashdondog started teaching children about ancient people who created rock painting, read stories to them and helped them write their own stories. The library so far traveled 137,000 kilometers. Famous American actor Ashton Kutcher posted about J.Dashdondog’s library on his Facebook page, and his interviews were published in newspapers and magazines in the USA, Japan, Swiss, India, South Korea and China. Japan, Germany, Singapore and South Korea made documentaries about the Mobile Library project and his literary works.
