Mongolian human rights activist became Executive Committee member of Forum-Asia. Mongolian lawyer Urantsooj Gombosuren became the member of the Executive Committee of Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development within 2016 to 2018. The Executive Committee is the policy-making body that supervises the work of the Secretariat. Urantsooj Gombosuren has been leading a Mongolian national NGO called Centre for Human Rights and Development since 2000 and is Chairperson of the National NGO Forum on Development and Cooperation established in 2010 to strengthen Mongolian Civil Society Organizations in demanding development effectiveness from the government and development agencies. She has been actively involved in monitoring of aid effectiveness at national level, engaging in building enabling environment for CSOs at national and international level, contributing in capacity building of local communities, national NGOs and lawyers in use of public interest litigation, UN human rights mechanisms to advance national legislation and its implementation.
